The Boone girls’ soccer team was on the road Tuesday, May 12, battling Webster City to a 3–3 tie in a non-conference matchup at Webster City High School.
The Toreadors got off to a strong start, scoring two goals in the first half to take an early lead and added another goal in the second half.
Webster City responded with one goal before halftime and two more in the second half, rallying to even the score and force the tie.
Delaney Good, Whitney Chesnut, and Jaelynn Addy each scored a goal for the Toreadors.
Webster City’s record is 5-7-1, and Boone now sits at 2-5-4 on the season.
Boone returns home tonight hosting Des Moines North (4-6-1) at 7 p.m. at Goeppinger Field.
