The Boone volleyball team was on the road Tuesday, September 29, for Raccoon River Conference action, as the Toreadors fell to Carlisle in three sets at Carlisle High School.
Halle Johnson led Boone’s offense with nine assists, while Karsyn Smith added two assists.
At the net, Hailee Bingham led the Toreadors with six kills.
Ava Johnson finished with three kills, while Jenna Murray contributed two.
Payton Stolte and Kyra Darby each recorded one block.
Smith paced Boone’s defensive effort with 17 digs.
Bingham added 10 digs, while Jaelyn Addy and Halle Johnson each finished with seven.
The Toreadors were strong from the service line, serving 96 percent as a team.
Ava Landas and Kyra Darby were both 7-for-7, Halle Johnson went 11-for-11, and Smith finished 5-for-5.
Boone dropped to 6-14 overall and 0-6 in conference play.
Carlisle improved to 8-14 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
Boone will travel to Newton for tournament action on Saturday, October 3.
