The Boone volleyball team dropped a Raccoon River Conference matchup Thursday, September 24, falling to Winterset, 3-0, at Boone High School.
Boone was led offensively by Hailee Bingham, who finished with four kills.
Ava Johnson added three kills, while Kaylee Kuehl recorded two.
Halle Johnson had a team-high six assists.
Kuehl also led the Toreadors with two blocks.
In the back row, Karsyn Smith and Bingham shared team-high honors with 14 digs apiece.
Taylor Engnell collected eight digs, while Halle Johnson added seven.
Smith also led Boone from the service line with two aces while going a perfect 7-for-7 serving.
Bingham was 6-for-6, Kuehl finished 4-for-4 and Kyra Darby was 2-for-2.
Winterset improved to 16-9 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
Boone fell to 5-11 overall and 0-5 in the Raccoon River Conference.
Boone will remain at home Saturday, September 26, when the Toreadors host the Boone Invitational.
Forest City, Grinnell and Fort Dodge will join Boone in the tournament at Boone High School.
