KWBG 11/03/26

Boone Mayor Dave Casotti talks about the Monday night Boone City Council Meeting. The Council did hear from a small group during public comments about their opposition to data centers and in particular to Lightedge Solutions project for Boone. Casotti also talked about a bid that was approved with Story Construction for the High Service Pump Improvements Project, a $1.2m bid. He also talked about the disappointment with City Wide Cleanup.

Joining us on our program today, we have Mayor Dave Cassotti. He's in out of the rain. Thank you. Thanks for being here. Thanks for having me, Jim. Thanks for somebody. Yeah. Did you vote earlier or did you go in today? I voted a little early. Yeah, just a lot of people did. It's the whole... I am kind of a traditionalist. I like to vote on Election Day, but there's always that little pardon me that says, what if something happens that day? You can't make it. You get sick, whatever. So, yeah, I went late last week. Got that done. Yep. Anyway, but there's been a lot of people voting in. Yeah, we don't have a lot of hotly contested races locally. One the House District 48, that's about it.
