
BOONE, Iowa—Drought conditions across Iowa saw improvement last week. Rain, especially over the southeast part of Iowa had a big impact on conditions. Conditions also improved in the northwest quarter of the state, but still contains the biggest share of Moderate Drought. There were no area’s reporting Severe Drought conditions this week. Abnormally Dry conditions dropped to less than 13% down from nearly 37% the week before. Locally, there were no drought conditions in Boone County.
