John Roosa, Administrator, Boone County Landfill and Boone County Recycling updates on the activities at the Landfill. Capital projects, the leachate force main project and the expansion of cell 9-R for solid waste disposal are underway, but have been hindered by rain. The month of August has been holding up both projects and Roosa says there will be some challenges dealing with the projects and usual operation of the landfill for several weeks, including during yard waste disposal.
