The Ogden boys’ and girls’ golf teams have closed out their seasons at Class 2A postseason meets.
Boys’ district meet
Jase Coleman competed for the Ogden boys with a round of 78, finishing tied for 13th, in a Class 2A district meet on Monday, May 18, in Shenandoah.
While the score wasn’t enough to earn a spot at the state tournament, Coleman’s performance capped a strong individual postseason.
Girls’ regional meet
On the girls’ side, Ogden finished sixth as a team with a 430 at their Class 2A regional meet on Friday, May 15, at River Bend Golf Course in Story City hosted by Roland-Story.
The Bulldogs finished just 38 strokes shy of advancing as host Roland-Story (343) won the meet.
Olivia Coleman fired a 91 to finish tied for seventh, narrowly missing advancing by just one stroke.
Clara Kruse added a solid round of 102, placing 18th, while Lydia Longhorn (116) and Maddie Ellis (121) rounded out the team scoring in 31st and 33rd place, respectively.
Sawyer Curry and Aubree Steward also competed for Ogden.
