
Sophie Seligman won the 400-meter dash as the Ogden girls track and field team placed sixth in a 13-school field, finishing with 61 team points, at the Ram Early Bird meet Friday, April 10, at Greene County Middle School in Jefferson.
In the 400-meter dash, Sophie Seligman earned a first‑place finish with a time of 65.54 seconds.
Trinity Stoneburner followed with a 1:10.24 effort in the 400.
Mady Benjamin placed second in the high jump, clearing 4-7, while Sidney Crane finished fifth with a jump of 4-5.
The 4×800‑meter relay team of Seligman, Stoneburner, Addi Hunziker, and Elyse Fisher claimed a second‑place finish with a time of 11:03.59.
In the shuttle hurdle relay, the quartet of Aubrey Leonard, Benjamin, Paysen Graden, and Alena Wilson finished second with a combined time of 1:11.53.
Individually, Wilson placed third in the 100‑meter hurdles, crossing the line in 17.10, and also was sixth in the long jump with a leap of 13-07.
The sprint medley relay of Leonard, Benjamin, Graden and Dakota Jones finished fifth in 2:02.70.
In the 4×200-meter relay, the team of Layla Wells, Crane, Ella Anderson and Grace Christensen posted a 2:01.30, finishing seventh.
The 4×100-meter relay of Leonard, Seligman, Stoneburner and Wilson finished seventh in 54.78.
The 4×400-meter relay of Anderson, Christensen, Crane, and Wells finished seventh with a time of 4:49.48.
