BOONE, Iowa—The Grand Centennial Event was a wild success last Saturday. Many people and organizations helped make the day a success, but the driving force behind this and so much good that happens at the park is the collective effort of the Friends of the Ledges.
Almost 400 people were served at the pancake breakfast.
About 100 people took part in the Historical Characters Hike.

Campground carnival games were a hit.
The live music was also a big hit.
The next busy day at the Ledges will be October 12th with a couple of events including the Ledges Campground Trick and Treat event at 5:00 in the afternoon. The formal rededication of the Ledges will be held November 9th.
