
BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Attorney Matt Speers office releases a weekly summary of court cases handled by the office. This week, the Court returned a guilty verdict on a felony sexual exploitation of a minor case investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
COURT SUMMARIES
6-22-25 – 7-3-26
– Juan Pablo Ruiz Oliva, 44, Perry, was found guilty by the District Court following a bench trial on Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a Class B Felony; Grooming and Enticing a Minor, both Class D Felonies. Sentencing will be set for a later date at which time the defendant faces up to 35 years in prison, with a minimum of 12.5-17.5 years, along with a lifetime Sex Offender Registry and parole requirement. The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
– Matthew Doran Stone, 48, Boone, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Indecent Exposure, a Serious Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 1 year in jail with all but 180 days suspended. On the suspended portion, the defendant was placed on probation with terms to include sex offender treatment. The defendant was also ordered to comply with the Sex Offender Registry for 10 years. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Dylan Lee Curtis Bundy, 25, Beaver, appeared for sentencing in District Court following jury verdicts of guilty to Going Armed with Intent, a Class D Felony; Child Endangerment and Assault with a Firearm, both Aggravated Misdemeanors. The defendant was sentenced to 7 years in prison, all suspended. On the suspended portion the defendant was placed on probation with terms. The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
– Keely Marie Trammell, 26, Ames, was granted a deferred judgment by the District Court following a guilty plea to Theft 2nd, a Class D Felony. On the deferred, the defendant was placed on probation with terms, plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Eduardo Tovar Cordova, 26, Boone, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Operate Vehicle Without Owners Consent, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 1 year in jail with all but 14 days suspended. On the suspended portion, the defendant was placed on probation with terms plus payment of fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Michael Leroy Allie, 52, Boone, was found in Contempt by the District Court following a stipulation to having violated a No Contact Order. On the Contempt, the defendant was sentenced to 7 days in jail. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Victoria Ann Dugan, 33, Boone, was sentenced by the Magistrate Court following a guilty plea to Assault, a Simple Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 2 days in jail, payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
– Joshuah Jack Sparks, 18, Jefferson, was granted a deferred judgment by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor. On the deferred, the defendant was placed on probation with terms to include completion of a class, plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Antwan James Woods, 27, Boone, was granted a deferred judgment by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor. On the deferred, the defendant was placed on probation with terms plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Nicky Lynn Ludolph, 33, Boone, was sentenced by the Magistrate Court following a guilty verdict to Harassment 3rd, a Simple Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 30 days in jail plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
– Dain James Stadler, 26, Boone, was granted a deferred judgment by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Theft 4th, a Serious Misdemeanor. On the deferred, the defendant was placed on probation with terms plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Kyle Alan Walker, 37, Boone, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Driving While Barred, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 15 days in jail plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Anthony Michael Gladney, 26, Sioux City, was sentenced by the Magistrate Court following a guilty plea to Providing False Identification, a Simple Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Tanner Robert Rohe, 19, Ogden, was sentenced by the Magistrate Court following a guilty plea to Littering, a Simple Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
