The Boone boys’ track and field team finished third with 115.5 points at the Greene County Ram Relays Monday, April 20, in Jefferson.
Boone earned three first‑place finishes, led by the 4×800-meter relay team of Ajay Braddock, Teddy Johnson, Pearson Lampe and Austin Felder, which captured the meet title with a time of 8:48.62.
The distance medley relay of Ryder Hillsabeck, George Grote, Marcus Cook and Myers also finished first in 3:52.51.
The 4×400-meter relay of Jaydon Clark, Cook, Johnson and Maddox McIntyre ended in first place in 3:39.27.
The Toreadors also picked up two second‑place performances.
Braddock ran a 2:08.04 to finish runner‑up in the 800 meter-run, while Myers placed second in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:50.83.
Bodie Brogden placed third in the 110 hurdles in 16.36 and also was third in the 400‑meter hurdles in 1:02.44.
McIntyre finished third in the 400-meter dash in 52.22.
Boone also earned third place in the 4×200-meter relay (Hillsabeck, Gabe Villalva, Issac McCloud and Reid McClain) in 1:37.84 and in the shuttle hurdle relay (Brogden, Brenden Hedrick, McCloud and Max McLaughlin) in 1:08.31
Carroll won the team title with 163 points, followed by Greene County in second with 119.5 points, while Boone edged out Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center and Perry to secure third place.
