Bill Skare, Boone City Administrator takes time to review the many things that have happened for the City of Boone in 2024. Obviously the largest was the decision by Daisy to select Boone as the home of their new processing facility. While that was going on, several local businesses also continued with their growth plans. There are still others that continue to be courted going into 2025. Housing starts have continued to expand and Skare says a review of the Housing Study done by the city will be updated in 2025 to make sure development continues to meet growing demand. Budget work has been progressing and is expected to be completed in January. Aired Monday, December 23, 2024.
