BOONE, Iowa—The National Weather Service Severe Storms Forecast Center in Norman, Oklahoma has issued a Tornado Watch until 10:00 p.m. for much of the Northeast Quarter of Iowa. The watch went into effect at 3:30 p.m. Monday. A Heat Advisory continues until 8:00 p.m. this evening.
