DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated information concerning the severe thunderstorm potential over the next several days. Activity is expected over Southern Iowa tonight, mainly Central and Southern Iowa late Friday through Friday night, then becoming more widespread from Saturday through Monday. The potential for strong storms will be after sunset tonight in southern Iowa; late in the day Friday through Friday night; timing Saturday through Monday to be refined later.
