The No. 13 Boone softball team lost to Indianola,14-9, in a non-conference matchup Thursday, June 18, on the road.
Brooke Weisbrod finished with three hits — including a double — while scoring two runs and adding an RBI.
Weisbrod was the starting pitcher, recording one strikeout in the loss.
Kaylee Kuehl also had three hits, driving in two runs and scoring once, and she recorded two strikeouts in relief.
Hailee Bingham added a hit, two runs scored and two RBI, while Harper Kuehl delivered a hit and drove in a pair of runs.
Claire Hardinger crossed the plate twice and collected a hit, and Halle Bailey contributed a hit and a run scored.
Olivia Garver and Finley Houser each added hits, while Hadley Gustafson scored a run.
Boone slipped to 9-8 overall with the loss, while Indianola improved to 8-11.
The Toreadors are scheduled to host Woodward-Granger (9-10) in a non-conference game at Gary Creasman Field.
