Officer returned a call to a subject that was arrested over the weekend. Officer answered her questions about the wrong paperwork being transferred to the judge for the initial hearing. Officer informed the subject that the correct paperwork was sent yesterday and explained the process for when the warrant comes out. Officer apologized for the mix-up.
Officer spoke to a subject that was involved in a case this weekend and needed a call for service for her work and landlord, due to missing a day. Officer printed off the paperwork and provided the subject with a copy.
Officer did a background check on a subject wanting to go door-to-door doing sales. Stronghouse Construction was OK’d and given a permit to do so.
Officer spoke to a Madrid resident and answered questions pertaining to RV parking.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of South Kennedy Avenue, for a juvenile patient having a seizure. Officer found the patient stable. Madrid Fire/Rescue arrived and officer cleared for another call.
Officer was dispatched to a fire alarm going off in the 600 block of Maverick Lane. Caller stated that the walls were hot to the touch around the alarm. Officer and Madrid Fire checked the walls with technology for detecting and locating heat in the walls and found nothing that was alarming. The smoke detectors were manufactured in 2013. Officer informed the tenant to call their landlord and immediately have them replaced.
Officer was advised from Boone County Dispatch regarding an active valid warrant for a Madrid resident, Officer located the subject and took her to Boone County Jail.

Officer received a call regarding a reckless driver on Highway 210, coming into Madrid. Officer was able to locate the vehicle and make a traffic stop. The driver was not impaired just elderly and was on his way to a different job site for work.
Officer was asked to perform a civil stand-by for a Madrid resident who had people coming over to pick up their belongings.
Officer was made aware by Madrid resident there are juveniles throwing big rocks at his commercial property causing damage. Also, the big rocks are a hazard when the property is mowed.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Springer Court, for an unwanted guest at the residence. Homeowners were out of town and left their daughter at home, they found out there was an unwanted person in their home and wanted him to leave. The suspect left before Officer’s arrival but Officer later contacted him by phone and advised him that he was trespassed from the residence.

Officer received information about a missing dog. The dog has been missing for three days and has been spotted on cameras around town. Pictures have been posted and reposted on the Madrid Media Network Facebook page.
Officer responded to the 200 block of South Market Street on a medical assist. Resident was transported to Boone County Hospital by Boone County Ambulance.
Officer spoke with Madrid resident via telephone and assisted her with instructions on transferring an injured cat that she found over to the Boone County Humane Society.
Officer assisted the fire department on an unknown burn in the 1700 block of 300th Street.

Officer spoke with a woman at the PD reference a substance she found in her vehicle and was concerned it may be drugs. Officer confirmed it was not drugs and likely table salt.
Officer unlocked a vehicle at the Cedars home.
Officer responded to the 400 block of East 9th Street, for a medical pendant push. Officer arrived on scene and was informed it was accidental push.

Officer responded to a verbal domestic situation in the 300 block of North Water Street. It was determined that a threat was made towards a visitor of the home, but no violence occurred. At the insistence of the occupants and with the owner’s permission, two firearms from the home were removed and will be kept at the Police Department for safe keeping.
Officers were called back to the 300 block of North Water Street, for more verbal disagreements. Everyone except the female homeowner went to stay with Grandparents.
Officer performed a welfare check in the 300 block of North Water Street.
Officers responded to the 500 block of Milwaukee to help a parent speak with their children about proper behavior and how to get along with siblings.
Officer responded to several fireworks complaints throughout the City of Madrid
Officer responded to the 300 block of Southern Prairie for a male who was having issues possibly related to the heat. Boone County Ambulance responded and transported the patient.
Officer performed several traffic stops throughout the City of Madrid.
Officer assisted with a medical call on North Locust Street.
Officer assisted with a medical call on West 2nd Street.
Officer returned a call to a subject reference needing assistance from mobile crisis. Officer gave her the number and followed up with her later to ensure her welfare.
Officer picked up a found dog at Caseys. The dog was returned to its owner a short time later.
Officer unlocked a vehicle on Maverick Lane.
Officer performed a welfare check in the 300 block of North Water Street.
