Hanson reviewed 2024 and looked ahead at some new things they hope to incorporate in 2025. She’s very excited about some leadership training programs. Aired Thursday December 05, 2024.

John Roosa, Administrator, Boone County Landfill and Recycling talks about recycling during the holidays. A perfect example is Christmas wrap. He said most Christmas wrap may not be recyclable due to components that will contaminate recycling. He says the shiny parts usually have a metal component, or glitter on the wrapping paper. He said they are planning to Tree-cycle real Christmas trees. But they need to be clean and free of tinsel and ornaments. More details are expected later this month.
